   Oh,
   you shouldn’t make fun of that poor sweet lady.
   Remember: she was 4 at the end of WWII: atomic bomb, friend’s father dying, starving children in Europe, etc.
   Such things lead to Pathological Altruism coupled with Noble Cause syndrome,
   for which there seems to be no cure.
   As the UP series notes:
       “Give me a child of 6, and I give you the (wo)man”
