13th Coolest January-August In Illinois History

There has been no long term trend in Illinois Jan-Aug temperatures, and the current year is the 13th coolest on record.

    Big Chicago heat wave this week though. Yuck. I had to do a 14 mile run indoors on the treadmill. HUGE carbon footprint. How terrible. (sarcasm)

    We are having a half way respectable September heat wave to be quickly follow by a half way respectible September cold shot. Whoopie!! Weather is being weather.
