Gretzky! Awesome choice. I saw him play back when he first joined the Edmonton Oil Kings (before they became the Oilers). Even in his first year in the pro’s, it was obvious he was going to do magical things on the ice.
He scored his 50th goal in 39 games against Penn State’s next door neighbors, the Philadelphia Flyers. It was his 5th goal of the game!
