I’m more concerned about my liberty than my safety, so the storrn trooper gets my attention.
While I genuinely like the police… one has to ask, which one of these men could be most easily convinced he has a right to enter your home unannounced. Then legally shoot you if you protested. I like this post for reasons beyond the basic reaction it’s intended to provoke. Frankly I fear those who believe their government would never do anything to harm them, intentionally or unintentionally. They are truly the danger facing all of us.
At the moment, neither weapon holder threatens me because they are just pictures on the internet. But that winking creep at the bottom is a verifiable danger.

Police are goons hired by local governments. Sheriffs are elected by the people and therefore sworn to defending and protecting the Constitution.
Off-topic: I don’t know whether the guy on the right is “clinging” to his gun or to his motorcycle, but his position is awkward, thus unsafe. He needs to choose what he wants to do, ride or shoot.
