WOOHOO! … Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year! … I LOVE The Greenland Open!
pick up the pace buddy…several groups are waiting for their tee off’s…
How do they find the ball ? Paint it black or fit it with an RFID, Just curious.
Back up in Fargo, we used to use bright orange, pink or yellow balls and hope for the best. Lost a lot of balls. If the snow was a little deeper (> 2-3″), we would just take a bucket or two of bright yellow range balls and drop where we find the ball entered the snow, or as close as we could to where we “thought” it did.
😆

ROFLMAO .. keeper!
At least he is wearing appropriate winter golf attire! There is no doubt that with the warming planet that the Greenland Open will soon reach major championship status.
That’s me on the 9th … the signature par 3 back to the clubhouse … ok, it’s not much of a clubhouse right now, but as soon as we can get the next tranche of our CAGW funding we’re building a Taj Mahal replica … yeah, that’ll pull in the punters !
Another thing that you’ll notice is the flags down the centre of the fairway … the dryness of drought has made the green, fairway and water hazard practically indistinguishable … yes, yes, I know that it is a par 3 but when Mikey and Jimmy were here last they couldn’t find their way around the water hazard.
I’m trying to imagine…..apart from Golf…. what residents do in that place. Okay, so there’s tropical bird watching, and white water rafting in the raging snowmelt, but what else?
HAHAHA! Thanks for that!
They are just nuts for being out in that weather .
