The Seemingly Endless World Of Climate Lies

The Washington Post says :

We’re on pace for 4°C of global warming. Here’s why that terrifies the World Bank.

Over the years at the U.N. climate talks, the goal has been to keep future global warming below 2°C. But as those talks have faltered, emissions have kept rising, and that 2°C goal is now looking increasingly out of reach. Lately, the conversation has shifted toward how to deal with 3°C of warming. Or 4°C. Or potentially more.

We’re on pace for 4°C of global warming. Here’s why that terrifies the World Bank.

No were not. There has been no warming for over 15 years. We aren’t on pace for anything. People can have whatever conversations they want, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t complete morons.

The hockey team just piles on one lie after another about temperature and sea level and hurricanes and tornadoes and snow and ice and everything else. We have entered a new dark age.

The World Bank is doing such a good job of finance and economics that they can branch out into “climate science”?? Greece and Spain are crumbling wrecks (and getting worse) as a result of following World Bank advice – and now we are supposed to pay attention to what they have to say about the state of the climate? The mind truly boggles. Is the world completely FUBAR, or what?

    • It is. And nobody seems to understand just how much. It is the test of our time (but a long, long time in coming to the present climax), and the world is failing the test (has been failing, ever more and more, for that long, long time).

The World Bank report is hilarious, I downloaded it and gave it a read. Instead of using actual data from GISS, UAH, RSS & HADCRU, they used the discredited Foster and Rahmstorf 2011 joke paper that is a travesty of peer review.

  4. gofer says:

The H2 Channel is promoting Sandy “Megastorm” by saying “It’s not the intensity of the storms but the greater frequency they are happening.” I mean, they just come out with blatant lies. It’s outrageous. Everything they say, the facts are exactly the opposite.

  5. gofer says:

Nobody knows where the 2C limit came from. Even Phil Jones said it appeared to be “pulled out of thin air.” Yet, it’s repeated throughout the alarmist world as fact much like all the other lies.

A bit off topic, but representative of the left wingnuts:

Krugman 11/18/12: “fair share” is 91%, just like in the 1950s.
Of course, he conveniently neglects to mention that many small businesses now pay taxes as individuals as a result of tax law changes.
    Some background: Note the graphs.
He ignores Hauser’s Law, and loopholes and tax shelters present back then, among many things.
Not sure what people will do who live in states where the income tax is above 9% (e.g. California, 13.3%). The rich apparently will have to pay everything they earn to the govt plus a penalty for being rich.
And we haven’t even mentioned FICA, Medicare, sales, real estate, and Obamacare (surcharges on the rich) taxes.
This is buffoonery coming from someone who criticized Romney for wanting to take us back to the 1950s.
Nice to see Krugman at least assign a quantitative number to “fair share,” albeit after the election where politicians do not have to take a stance on it.
Let’s see if a Republican or Democrat proposes this as legislation and has CBO score it to project GDP, unemployment, and tax revenue.

They’ve been telling lies for so long – for a generation now – that they are ingrained.

  8. Andy OZ says:

The World Bank is acting like they are part of the AGW conspiracy, which considering they will want 3rd world countries to borrow and spend heaps on unnecessary “climate abatement” strategies, one could suppose they are. But they always act in 3rd world country’s best interests (sarc)

  9. Ivan says:

Luckily … those of us who live in Australia don’t have to worry about any of this.
We have a carbon tax – so none of this will affect us!

    • Andy OZ says:

Yes indeed. Ms Gilliard has saved us from the ravages of CO2.
Except we’ll all be much, much, poorer, and London’s carbon credit shysters will be much much richer. Her and the rest of her party are moronic at best and sociopathic at worst.

  10. Andy DC says:

Trasnlation-At its current rate, warm biased temperature adjustments will reach 3 or even 4 degrees C. So even if diddly squat is happening, we can still continue to terrify the dimwitted morons out there, every time there is a weather event.

  11. gator69 says:

OK. But what is the opinion of the LPGA? And what does the SPEBSQSA have to say?

    • johnmcguire says:

Ok gator , I understand the importance of getting the opinion of the gophers err golfers but who is or are the SPEBSQSA ? 🙂 suckers previously eager before seeing quacks seize assets ?

      • gator69 says:

I was once a member, and need to know what they are forecasting, as I have not attended a meeting in years. Honestly John, I cannot believe you have not heard of the “Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America”. 😉
