In the Soviet Union, political opponents had their reputations systematically destroyed by the rulers and the government controlled press corpse.

The US in 2012 is no different. MSNBC might as well rename themselves Pravda.

    You forgot about:
        New York Times,
        Washington Post,
        LA Times, and
        Associated Press
    all of which were in the Cheer Leading Squad being sure to publish only
        the good part of goberment pronouncements!

    But then
    58 million people can’t be wrong… oops yep they are wrong, it is
    the 61 million who aren’t -> after all, they willingly sold their votes!

    Pravda had more truth in their reporting than MSNBC does.
