Americans went into the voting booth yesterday with horrific images of the fallout from Superstorm Sandy fresh in their minds. Pictures of homes ripped from their moorings, stories of children whisked away by rushing waters, reports of elderly people trapped on top floors of buildings — the true cost of ignoring science’s warnings about global warming are now all too vivid.

I wager that these people don’t believe all the stuff they spew. Nobody can be so stupid and illogical to think they can stop storms. Do they think the weather of the 18-1900’s was without bad weather? A simple research of history would show that it’s all absolutely crazy. Eventually, they get frustrated and reveal their real motives by ranting against capitalism and overpopulation. 35% of people believe in “bigfoot”. Global warmers remind me of the guy who say’s “I think there’s a squatch in these woods.”
Thriving sea port town of Indianola, TX was wiped off the map by a hurricane in 1886 and never rebuilt. The weather was not kinder and gentler in the good, old days.
Satellites could have detected the storm and allowed them time to move the city 50 miles inland.
Indianola was wiped out twice in 10 years. They rebuilt it after the first hurricane, but threw in the towel after the second one in 1886.
