Grok Defending The Climate Scam

Interesting conversation with Grok, defending NOAA adjustments.  Grok was wise not to answer my final question, because either way it loses.  Either the adjustments are bogus, or UHI is much larger than acknowledged.

(18) Tony Heller on X: “@grok @MohelRabbi @SunWeatherMan @xai Jacksonville, Illinois temperatures from October 1899 are adjusted downwards 1.96F, and temperatures from January 1971 are adjusted upwards 1.84F. Do you actually believe that a station move in a small town caused almost four degrees of cooling? https://t.co/qVjlAwJG1A” / X

If the original station was close to the ocean and the new one is on the West side of town, the four degrees could be legitimate

Perhaps you’re not writing specifically about Jacksonville Illinois, which is in the American heartland, about 250 miles south of Chicago, which is at the southern end of Lake Michigan. Otherwise a large body of water like Lake Michigan can produce a lot of temperature differential from beside it compared to a location just a few miles away. For example I live on Lake Huron, which can be freezing compared to downtown a few miles away. It all depends where the wind is blowing from. Hope that helps.

What a game! No wonder AI needs so much juice to run, why those bots need to smack their own bottoms for stubbornly trying to rationalizing the irrational.
