I think that people on the left realize that people on the left can’t be trusted with guns. They just expect that the rest of us are as screwed up as they are and want to “keep us safe from ourselves”.
In regard to enhanced background checks; I believe if The People performed a background check on members of the Senate, Congress and Representatives they would be shocked how many have dual citizenships and what the countries they share citizenships with.
If somebody on the Internet is tarring and feathering a company with false information, they’d want to know. . When slander hurts a person or company’s income, I believe that’s when it becomes libelous slander. Whether the accuser says they’re in the right to do so is of no consequence. Lots of zealots have been silenced by their own stupidity.
