I wouldn’t trust anyone from Government or Major Media. All they ever do is lie.

I should have realised it would be terrible when I saw the buttfeed logo.
More than half of the predictions boiled down to, “We’re going to see things that were invented in the 1920s & 30s (or 1890s in the case of the escalator (which is not the moving sidewalk that Asimov envisioned at all)) become commonplace.” The others were simply wrong, & the buttfeed simians didn’t grasp that their pictures entirely missed the point in an attempt to show something vaguely resembling “frighteningly accurate”.
Upshot: don’t believe what you get from people who can’t count past 9 without removing their shoes.
On the one hand: that was 40 years ago; on the other: things haven’t changed much.
Charney chaired a report into CO2 and its effect back in 1979:

I have a deep, personal connection with the year 1974, & I have to agree, it’s 40, not 50.
Steve mostly seems to embody and thus by example teach this advertising hero philosophy:
