If he lives long enough he’ll be saying the same about global warming.
Surprisingly, no mention whatsoever in the article about Ewing and Donn, whose Theory of Ice Ages (presupposing an open Arctic) was still very much current in 1969!
Gone are the days when the weather was the end-of-newscast 3-5 minute “forecast” that was the subject of so many jokes and derision. (and deservedly so)
Now, with the hunger of the 24-hour weather coverage for “content”, any nimrod with a scarey story gets coverage. Facts aren’t required, just a scarey soundbite.. And every one of these so-called scientists reach the exact same conclusion: “we need more money”.
With their accuracy track record, and the extreme difficulty of burying their past (though they are indeed trying), these clowns (“climate scientists”) should once again be the target of the derisive jokes. It just isn’t happening fast enough for me.
They should be the target of criminal investigations.
Exaggerated and fraudulent global warming claims in the name of “science” (funding) have been circulating for a long time. Over 45 years and countless billions wasted, it is time to shut the funding down completely..
