The obvious sarcastic comment here is “The science is settled”. But it’s nicer to know what side of history you’re on when you read daily erroneous predictions just like this one.
American journalists will be the last ones on earth to openly question alarmist science. But at least it is starting to happen in Europe.

These predictions are for the shock value of the moment. No one is expected to be held accountable for something like this. It’s political science, not real science.

Bob: Shock value yes, but the obvious response to that is, when these alarmists make these statements, they obviously want people to believe them as true, largely because many of them have truly convinced themselves that their alarmism is actually true and justifies deception. But, if these statements truly are deceptions, how can a rational person know they are false, and yet convince themselves that their own lies are true, and then base their future actions on the falsehoods they have created themselves? And the leaders with agendas, who knowingly lie about the alarmist agenda manipulate the self-deluded zealots for their own evil agenda. Witness the OWS phenomenon. Totally manipulated into supporting the cause they profess to loathe. And useful idiots always make their presence known, because they are such stooges, or more appropriately, Queslings.
