No Values Or Honor Permitted

Boys are raised without any values or any honor. They are taught by their teachers and their government that their parents are destroying the planet, and that America is evil.  Any attempt to develop a real value system is snuffed out.

Then when kids act out what they have been taught, the same leftists who created the problem immediately blame guns.

But having millions of automatic weapons around the country isn’t a problem eh?

The article below outlines some of what you said above, Steve, as well as the dumbing down of America:

  4. Tim Austin says:

adam gallon, you are a tool. 1st, no “automatic” weapons. 2nd, no law crafted by man could ever keep guns out of the hands of a crazy, determined person hands.

RULE: you can beat a stupid(crazy) person, you can beat a determined person, a stupid(crazy) person is unbeatable.

They WILL find a way to aquire the weapons. Laws do NOT apply to those that are determined to commit violence.

  5. Tim Austin says:

OK, I should have said “a person determined to be stupid(crazy) is unbeatable….”

It’s not PC to say I guess, but as a girl I really hate this wussy boy trend. Nothing is a greater turn-off than some pathetic whimpering ‘metrosexual’ male that I could whup with one weak girly hand tied behind my back. Men are supposed to be strong and independent, not quivering blobs of fear.

“In the Dominican collection, was there not to be found a certain Doctor of Theology, Révérend Père Rouard de Card, a Preaching Brother, who in a brochure entitled:-Of the Falsification of the Sacramental Substances, has demonstrated beyond a doubt that the major part of Masses were null and void, by reason of the fact that the materials used in the rite were sophisticated by dealers? For years, the holy oil had been adulterated with goose-grease; the taper-wax with burnt bones; the incense with common resin and old benzoin. But worse than all, the substances indispensable for the holy sacrifice, the two things without which no oblation was possible, had likewise been falsified, the wine by repeated dilutings and the illicit addition of Pernambuco barc, elder-berries, alcohol, alum, salicylate, litharge; the bread, that bread of the Eucarist that must be kneaded of the fine flour of wheat, by ground haricot-beans, potash and pipeclay! Nay, now they had gone further yet; they had dared to suppress the wheat altogether and shameless dealers manufactured out of potato meal nearly all the hosts! Now God declined to come down and be made flesh in potato flour.” – J. K. Huysmans (Against the Grain, 1883)

We also reward every child even when they fail. Coming 9th in a race of 10 is celebrated just as much as coming 1st.
People are not stupid. By the time little Johnny reaches middle high school, he knows he’s not as good or special as he’s been told all these years. This has a profound effect on the self esteem of (the now not so) little Johnny,

With all due respect, the kid was a mental case. Shit happens.

  10. R. de Haan says:

Bedides that, why didn’t any of the security staf or the teachers had guns to protect them?

  11. Adam Gallon says:

And how did the kid get hold of a gun?
You really feel that teachers in schools, should carry guns?
A response of guns for all seems to be the universal response here.
Maybe the children should have each received a school issued gun, so they could defend themselves?

“The 2011 Norway attacks were two sequential lone wolf terrorist attacks against the government, the civilian population and a Workers’ Youth League (AUF)-run summer camp in Norway on 22 July 2011, claiming a total of 77 lives.

The first was a car bomb explosion in Oslo within Regjeringskvartalet, the executive government quarter of Norway, at 15:25:22 (CEST). The bomb was made from a mixture of fertiliser and fuel oil and placed in the back of a car. The car was placed in front of the office of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and other government buildings. The explosion killed eight people and injured at least 209 people, twelve of them seriously.

The second attack occurred less than two hours later at a summer camp on the island of Utøya in Tyrifjorden, Buskerud. The camp was organized by the AUF, the youth division of the ruling Norwegian Labour Party (AP). A gunman dressed in a homemade police uniform and showing false identification gained access to the island and subsequently opened fire at the participants, killing 69 of them, and injuring at least 110, 55 of them seriously; the 69th victim died in a hospital two days after the massacre. Among the dead were personal friends of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and the stepbrother of Norway’s crown princess Mette-Marit.”

Yes, we need guns to protect the innocent, lots of guns. Anders Breivik would have been dodging bullets in my world, and not sending them at unarmed kids.

    • If guns were prevalent, he never would have considered doing what he did. The reason he did it was because he knew he would have the opportunity to kill a lot of unarmed people without getting hurt himself. And now he pays the price with cold coffee in jail.

      • J Martin says:

Guns are more prevalent in the US than almost anywhere else, yet over 300 children under the age of 14 are killed by firearm in the USA each year.

It is impossible to ban firearms, however, it is possible to require and enforce that they are kept under lock and key.

      • miked1947 says:

No it is not! What value is a weapon if it is locked up all the time! The answer is teaching values to the younger people and living our lives based on a value system.

  13. Michael says:

Steven, you are right. It does come down to parenting in the first instance and what society teaches people in the second instance. I suppose that some people are more prone to violent acts than others, but they can be taught to control themselves. I love the saying: “What gets rewarded gets done”. The opposite is also true.

If we want people to commit to peaceful existence, we need to reward them when they are peaceful. In households across the world, including North America, parents reward their children for acting out. Children want affirmation and attention from their parents. If they cannot get affirmation, they will strive for attention. However, in many homes, parents are so busy with their personal communication devices, facebook, TV watching, etc. that they ignore their children. The only time the children get attention is when they act out. Little Johnny or Suzie gets attention from Mom or Dad when he/she bites or hits his sibling, steals a toy or whatever. If he/she is an only child, they get attention from breaking things (objects or rules). They are taught that if they do something wrong they get what they want, which is their parent’s attention.

At school, they learn that bullies get their way. Anti-bullying legislation and policies are a load of … . Children learn at school that even if they report a bully, their life will not improve. The administration (teacher, principal, anti-bullying committee .. etc.) will coddle the bully, and then the bully will come back and get revenge on the person who reported them.

We teach our kids that acting out, breaking rules and violence (bullying) are the way to rewards.

And then there are our jihadist friends who promise the most luxurious places in heaven are reserved for those who kill innocent people, as long as they are not Muslims, or their particular sect of Muslims. This is, of course, the extreme.

So, the solution is in our homes and in our schools. Reward those who are doing what you want. If your kid is sitting and playing nicely, walk up to them and give them a hug and compliment them on what they are doing. Withdraw privileges when they act out. It’s not that hard actually.
